vb:
I'm unsure if you are replacing the TPS with a new part or are reusing the old. Keep in mind that I've never done this before, but I do recall reading many times that part of the problem is the gunk and build up that gets INTO the TPS over the course of years. Some guys have drilled holes on top and bottom in order to spray cleaner in there every so often. I'm just worried that cleaning the outside of things will won't do a whole lot; and since you've gone through the bother to do this right, I thought I should say... Of course, if you are replacing the part altogether, nevermind.

Well, spent all day trying to adjust the TPS and wherever I adjust it the car still runs the same. I will order a new one today and wait for it's arrival............At least it is a relatively in expensive part...HAHAHA

Bummer! We do appreciate your keeping us informed. I guess we'll have to see what the mechanic says. I went back and read the posts and it strikes me there are several other lines of thought that could be gone down, not least of which being fuel pressure. But you'll want to make sure the mechanic goes over the TPS to double check it is in calibration before anything else.

Alright, The problem was I cracked one of the intake manifold plastic tubes identifying part number on it is EBC4953PA. I could not see it as it was underneath. When I was "Strong Arming" the oil filter off I cracked it. I didn't need the TPS but I have a new one now and a slightly used one for sale...LOL Thank you everyone for your input
and assistance. I hope this helps someone else down the line!!!!!!! Still cheaper than the dealer...LOL
