The left side repeater light isn't working in my AUS delivered 1987 XJ40 XJ6 3.6L. There's no signal along the wire which points to the LF bulb module being faulty. Does anybody know which relay in the bulb module does the flashing signal for the side repeater light? They're numbered RL1 to RL7(?). Thanks for your help.

Try posting in the xj40 section. This is the x308 and our cars started production in 1997.

Wrong section of the forums but did you check the bulb to see if it is faulty. and did you use a LED bulb?

Hi. Sorry to stuff up the protocol. I often looked at your forum through search links before I joined and when the dialogue box appeared to ask a question - even though I wasn't a member - I jumped at the opportunity! Of course, before I could post my question I was led to the sign-up page. After doing that I discovered that my premature question had already been posted, before I had the chance to introduce myself. Hence, the cart before the horse! Thanks for moving my thread to the XJ40 forum.

Sorry about the wrong forum. It was a filament bulb with no voltage signal at the bulb housing/socket or the wire to the BRFM.
