Please help with AC parts
Sounds like either my compressor or clutch bearing went out
It cools pretty well but it got really noisy after tightening the belt.
I figure It would be best to put a new compressor, receiver and expansion valve and be done with it. Trouble is, I'm having trouble picking out parts.
The comp. Looks like a regular Sanden unit which is good so I just need to make sure it has the right head to match the hose manifold. Same with the TXV but the receiver/drier has me stumped. It looks like it is an assembly with both an accumulator and a receiver drier?
Any help finding the proper receiver/accumulator/whatever
would be great.
Thanks

Hi Jon,
For my 94 I got the expansion valve and rec/dryer tank at a local foreign car parts store. Both were available overnite and less than $100.00 total which I thought was very reasonable. And you are correct that the tank in front of the condensor is rec/dryer/accum combo. Cary
