Default Rebuilding Front End On My '88 VDP

My lower control arm bushings were badly worn,so I decided to replace the upper and lower bushings and ball joints while I have everything disassembled. I'm going to try to get at least one side of the car done this weekend, assuming all the parts get here on time. What I need to know is....does anyone have the torque specs for the bolts going thru the upper ball joint, the torque setting on both upper and lower ball joints, and the setting on the bolts going thru the control arms?

Try xj40.com thats where I found my torque specs when I did up my front end. Maybe the haynes manual has them?

As Mick mentioned, I agree that you'll probably find everything you need in Haynes. At the link below you can download a U.K. edition minus a couple of chapters:

Haynes XJ40 Repair Manual

For any serious service work, I recommend the actual Jaguar Workshop Manual, which you can purchase on DVD-ROM for a reasonable price from the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust (https://shop.jaguar.com/uk/).

Cheers,

Don
