Seem to have a rotary switch problem FF69 flagged but rotary switch is spotless inside, when adjusted no change, still stays in limp mode. Can't get reverse lights to come on no matter where switch is moved. Bulbs are good, lol. This was an intermittant problem at first and lights did work when shifted into R, now constantly in limp mode, no change when rotary switch is adjusted. Found a new rotary switch but it's for MY VN up to 629XXX mine is 631xxx do you think it makes a difference? If not I will buy it as it is OEM brand new and at a great price.

PS: Shifter cable is good, moves smoothly and is securely attached at side of trans.
