I have been bothered by an oil leak in my '90 Majestic for some time.

I spent several hours to day looking for the leak everything on the left side is tight and
appears to be in good order.

The right side the situation is different. Oil is leaking onto the exhaust manifold.
Looking up toward the right rear (exhaust side) corner, under the rear exhaust manifold there appears to be a
fitting wet with oil(?). The only fitting in that area, as far as I know, is the EGR valve pipe joint?
Can the EGR valve (new), because of a blockage(?), be sucking oil out of the sump through the pipe and leaking onto the exhaust?
This scenario makes no sense, however,,,?

My first guess would be the 1/2 moon rubbers on the back end of the valve cover gasket. Oil would run to that side being downhill. Maybe you could see it with a mirror?

Just checked out the gasket/cam cover and the screws were all slightly loose. This simple oversight on my part maybe solved my problem?
