Default Self leveling suspension oil change

Hi I know the sls system and its faults have been discussed a lot here but I was wondering for the few of us that still have a working system is there a diy description or a bulletin that describes how to do a fluid change on the system? I ordered the factory fluid from the dealer but I’m not sure how to drain the system in order to perform a fluid flush on it. I have a 1990 vdp. Thank you in advance

The way I change the oil is to remove all the SLS system parts, convert to standard suspension, remove the pump from the front engine cover as well as the solenoid valve block and drain the hydraulic fluid.

Cap the return port on the reservoir, run the SINGLE HOSE (reservoir to pump) and pour DEXRON ATF for the PAS. (Power Assisted Steering)

The 3.6 liter XJ40 as well as the 1993/94 non SLS cars use ATF for the PAS system.(only the 1990-1992 SLS cars used the green hydraulic fluid for the PAS)
I used to do DOZENS of these cars 'back-in-the-day'.

🤣 I don’t blame you but mine is in perfect working order I’m not going to delete it while it’s working fine🤷‍♂️
