Hello. I just recently bought a 1990 XJ40 and apparently I dont have a copy of the sound system info handbook, only the driving one. I've been scavenging the net for hours with no luck. Can someone direct me to said info?

It's a basic 1990 cassette system - no provision for a CD changer and the like. What model Jaguar do you have? The XJ6/Sovereign had four common ground speakers in the doors, the Daimler/Vanden Plas models had six speakers + 2 subs under the rear seat.

 

I have an XJ6. It has six speakers with the 2 subs in the rear. I wanted to get info on the operations (what certain buttons mean, functions etc.) I have no idea what they are because everything is abbreviated.

 

I have a 1990 Majestic and I still have the audio system manual. I should be able to copy and convert to PDF for you; let me confirm.

 

Contact me off forum and I'll email you a PDF of the factory manual delivered with a new car. Anyone else who has need of the manual is welcome to do the same.
