So my 90 xj40 4.0 will start run for awhile then will start to stutter then lose power and die, I've changed the coolant temperature sensor, fuel filter. Once it dies I am able to start it right back up but it keeps stuttering and dies if I leave it for a little while it starts right up and drives like nothing happened again for a while and then does it again been happening more often since the temperature where I live has been in the hundreds used to happen once every few weeks now it's almost every day... Help please thanks in advance

 

I think I would look at the pump starting to go. Maybe binding up when it gets hot? Good luck.
