tire and wheel advice
1993 xj140 base model
I am needing new tires presently have 225/65/15 mismatched tires (bought the car last November). Seem to be having a problem even finding a tire for this rim (15). I would like a quiet tire, I usually drive under 75 mph. Should I go to a bigger rim? puzzled by this issue. Money is always a factor LOL

As I understand things Pirelli are the only current manufacturer of this size.
I run them, but if ever I have to replace a set on another Jag, I will go for a 16" or above rim.
I gather that your corvette guys run 15" rims but I think that you would have to go for 245/60/15 in order to keep fairly close to your current rolling setup.
225x65% =146
245x60% =144
Don't know if these would rub.
4 wheels including tyres can be had for the price of two and a half of these Pirelli babies.
