I have a 94 XJ6, the transmission cable from the shifter to the transmission disconnect at the transmission. The cable end came off the the piece attached to the selector lever on the side of the transmission. I got it reattached but am concerned that there isnt some type of clamp or snap ring that holds the cable end to the arm attached to the shift lever. I looked in the parts breakdown and saw nothing that indicated anything that held the two pieces together. Anyone have any ideas on the cable end and attachment. thanks petek57
