I was recently looking on wikipedia at my xj40 stuff. when i came across "Transmission(s)" and it listed a 4 speed auto and a 5 spd manual....... Did the XJS's only come with the manuals or did the saloons come with a manual as an option?

had only 4 speed auto in sedans
but we did have a few xjs 5 speed manuals
think ive seen a total of 4 or 5 XJS"s with the 5 speed manual

 

Here in Europeall six cylinder XJS/XJ40/X300 were available with manual gearbox, five speed. Quite rare though. A manual X300 XJR would be neat!
