Hello everyone,



I am considering buying a Daimler Double Six from 1992 (XJ81, V12). While checking the engine bay, I noticed this hose (see photo) that looks cut or torn.



It is located on the passenger side of the engine bay, near the ABS unit and above the intake manifold. At the moment, it doesn’t seem to be connected to anything.



Could someone tell me what this hose is supposed to be connected to?

Not an XJ81. That's a Series 3.
