vacuum lines going to canister

Default vacuum lines going to canister

i removed my canister and noticed that one of the 3 ports had no hose attached and wasnt plugged. its the port thats furthest to the left, closest to the bolt. where is that supposed to go?

It's just the air intake for the canister, it's supposed to be open.
