Hello all, the panel underneath the glove box on my 89 is warped, which makes opening the glove box a 2 handed task. Looks like a previous owner tried to fix with sheet metal screws and adhesive.

Can I form it back into shape with heat/steam, or am I better off finding a better panel?

Hi, since no one else has said anything yet- here goes- I had a bit of curling on mine. I was able to use "Gorilla Glue" and a clamp to re-adhere it to the steel back plate. I used a couple of pieces of board to spread out the pressure of the clamp and left it overnight. So far so good. Good luck.
