Hello all. Looking to see what kind of info is out there for these cars. I currently have an '86 VdP and really like the interiors of the Majestic. I recently saw one and would like to know more. Any info is appreciated.

From my memory of having one come through the shop a long time ago, they were all the maroon (don't know the specific name) with lattice wheels that had the body color in the lattice. The seats and interior were the beige leather with maroon piping. I think the carpet was maroon as well. Other than that they are standard XJ40. I think.

 

They are pretty. I have been searching for one. As well as what is listed above, the leather is thicker, I believe the steering wheel is creme leather as well. The actual color is Regency Red. Only 527 were built in 1990. It's actually called a Vanden Plas Majestic. There was only 1 black one made for the prime minister of the UK.

 

I'll have to look for it but I think I have the model year update on CD somewhere that mentions the Majestic and its options.
