Default XJ40 (XJ6 3.2S) Original alloys?

Hi everyone, first time on this section of the forum and it's probably been about fifteen or so years since I've owned one of these models. Just acquired and came on the back of a truck without keys...perfect. Supposedly has 17 stamps but the book has gone astray and not been on the road for about 6 months.
So I'm sure the major questions will come up over the next week or so once I can get her started up and see what prevails. For now I just need to know if anyone can tell me if the alloys on the car are the ones that came standard or are they usually on another model. Thanks in advance.

Those wheels are from an X300/XJR...the supercharged 6 cylinder model. 1995-96-97 model year in the USA....although model years designations can get muddled from country-to-country.

Cheers

Thanks Doug, I had a feeling I'd seen them on some XJR's just couldn't be sure and risk sounding like a noob. Might have a look round and see what's available as original. These are nice but I don't want it to look like it's pretending to be something it's not. Thanks again.

Hi, Yours isn't the only one to have updated wheels. Mine are off of 95/6 xj. Red had the Kiwis but I think it looks better if they match...

This was the standard XJ40 metric alloy:

Yours are similar to X300 wheels but definitely NOT the same as fitted to European specification vehicles.

Did the US specification XJ40 have metric wheels? If so, the PO has presumably been inventive to get away from the odd tyre size.
