Dear members,

I'm new here and I'm going to check out a 94 automatic XJR. The car has 30000 miles (all bills and MOT's come with the car). On the pictures it looks great and talking to the owner it's in really great condition.
What should I look for on inspection besides from the classic xj40 problems? Anything specific for the XJR?

The car looks great. To the best of my knowledge and that is a bit limited on the Jaguar Sport. I do know they at rare only 1250 made over the run. The biggest changes are cosmetic and some suspension work. In my mind then the biggest problems would be if any of the Jag sport trim and wheels.

Please correct me here and if anyone has any info on these cars I would live to read it.

Bought the car.

Had a very thorough inspection on a bridge + driving session and the car was great. No rust, everything works, some little things on the bodywork, but in general a good car with correct mileage.

Now waiting for transport from spain.

 

Mark me up as jealous. Great, unusual car.
