A $100k XJ12c project in the works (not by me)
Came across this on Hemmings. Upgrading a 6.0L V12 and mating it to a 5 speed manual. Also creating 18" Kent style wheels! I think I would have chosen the pepperpot design myself if I was going to that trouble. I hope whoever buys it actually drives it. It looks like it will be amazing, albeit pricey.

think this has done rounds already - hope they strengthened that shell before the paint! ICSAmerica is the font of knowledge on that. This strikes me as a bit of a fishing expedition, with their 'we have xjc's in stock to restore for you' schtick...probably motivated by the blue LS powered car that supposedly sold for over 100k usd...
I am doing a 76 xjc with a mid 90's v12 and stick shift but I am at the dumpster diving, parts chasing and bargaining phase..and working on the carcass...

That's a really nice color for a coupe. Especially with a red and black trim interior. But I think we're reached "Peak Coupe" and that price will be a hard sell these days.
In any case, XJ coupes do flex...a lot. There just isnt much structure in the center of the car and Jag actually took out some very important structure on firewall of the Series 2 when they implemented the XJS style air box.
Stay tuned for my 2019 XJ coupe project. It's gonna have 6 speeds, and a 48 Valve 420HP v12 with a 7000 RPM red line with EO leves of refinement. All the parts have been collected... its just a matter of time.
