Default Fuel

Same here in Wisconsin. Upper grade is Ethanol free. Old Jags in particular are prone to rust regardless in every area. Fuel tanks were notorious. Yes there was water in fuel before ethanol. We live 2 miles from Road America. Elkhart Lake is car culture village. Our BP has a VP Racing Fuel pump. Our home is on the old road course. Any day in summer what goes past is interesting..Ferrari...Cobra....John Deere Lambo...
Vette..etc. Can't afford to race, but get a few laps in each year. Race prep for the rich who don't dirty their hands is big business around here.

Excalibur2012,

I'll be making my first trip to Elkhart Lake this year for the IMSA race in August. If you see a dark blue 72 S1 XJ6, wave me down.

Default Elkhart Lake

Well Jeff, If you drive the old historic road course at some point you'll see a White Ranch style #604 on the left as you're drive down Cty A "Wackers Wend"at Sugarbush . Just drive in and ring the bell if we're not outside.
