I have a 1974 XJ12L with only 59,000 original miles. It was in storage for 24 years.

I connected a battery and turned the key to sell if the engine turns over. All electrics work. But no click or anything when turning the key.
5.3 v12 carbureted. Any information will be much appreciated.

Do the headlights dim when you try to crank the engine?

Have you verified the engine is not seized?
