I took this picture of a somewhat original fuel lines set up in the boot. (Before I replace the fuel lines, it’s original only once..). The fuel pump isn’t original ect…but this is mostly factory.
2 fuel select valves. (One for the return fuel (left valve) and one for the fuel supply to the pump (right valve))
note the steel fuel pipes going towards the fuel tanks. Often replaced by rubber hoses… the steel lines are necessary as well as the heat shields covering them, as the passage to the fuel tank (or from) is only an 1in away from the hot muffler. Heat will deteriorate the rubber. The passage is not protected from the elements and replacing the lines by simply running rubber hoses in that section can lead to issues.
