I like it.

I do have a Land Rover R380 in my garage, which is the updated version of the LT77 originally fitted to manual XJs. And if it doesn't fit, well, I do have a LR 4.0 V8 in there as well.. .. a conversion I'm not sure anybody has tried. I do like the idea of a manual XJ6.

Tim H, you will have to fabricate a speedo drive for the r380 as the drive is part of the lt230, is it from a disco or defender?

From a '95 Disco. I have a LT77 as well from a TR7 and the tailhousing bolts up with the speedo drive, but I'm not sure if it would all go together easily, it might just be too much hassle..
