Hello everyone, I'm an American muscle car guy and dont know too much about Jaguars, and sadly I've been selling my father's collection, who passed years ago. He had a project 71 XKE that I sold earlier to a guy who was very happy and now I've moved to selling the XJ6. The car is pristine, 99% perfect, and I know very little about it, but my mother told me that the shop she used to take it to always said the wheels were of some value. I've done research, and I know they are Pepperpot 15 inch wheels, or Ogle perforated as I've seen some people say those are different, but mine are Chrome. At this point I've not seen a single chrome version, and as far as we know we never chromed those wheels. They are original, CAC5667, and I was just wondering if they really were of value or just normal wheels, thanks.

 

They are a bit hard to find in the USA.....as the USA models never came with them. Otherwise, no, not especially rare or unique.

I had a set on Ebay a few years ago and got only one bid......but that's just one experience.

They were not chromed from the factory although it was common and popular at the dealer and private owner levels many years ago

I've never seen a chrom set. Depends what you mean by a lot of money. Certainly several hundred if not more assuming they are in nice condition. There is a company in California that sells new chrome slotted wheels for $1600 per set.
