In a way. Mine chose to fail over a decade ago. Luckily in my drive way during the lump process!!
I got an "improved" version from Johns cats in Fort Worth, Texas. On line as Broken Kitty as a parts Source.
Open the console. The cable and the point of attachment to the shift tower will be seen there. Finnicky but doable. release the old. Out the top or the bottom I forgot.
Feed in the new.
Down and under, on the Left: side of the transmission. Unclamp the old hosing. Remove the attachment to the transmsssion. Attach the new.
Not the paddig at the console. prevents engine fumes from entering the cabin Mine was zip tied to the cable housing...
