Near as I can tell......

The relays above the radiator on the right side are the "main" fuel injection relay, fuel pump relay, and cooling fan relay (red). Not sure about the two on the left.

On the firewall the bigger of the bunch is the starter relay. The others are probably the two idle control relays and the feedback inhibit relay.

I'll try to come back later and take a closer look at the wire colors and hopefully be more precise

Cheers

Thanks Doug. any checks I can do on the injector relay....my other post is more relevant _ have a crank but no start condition. ( no pulse from injectors) fuel pressure good and has spark. Will check the white wire as you suggest....

yes.

Brown wire should have 12v at all times.

White wire should have 12v with the key "on"

Black wire is ground

Pink/black wires should have 12v with key 'on'. This is the output voltage to supply the ECU and injectors

Hi Doug ....little update.

checked the thin white wire with the shielding and looks good.
checked the resistor pac and cleaned the connectors.
checked the FI relay on the rad support (right side),
brown has 12v constant, white has 12v with key on , pink / black wires have no voltage key on or off.....what is next step??

Thank you C

Is the black wire grounded? If not, the relay won't operate.

If the black wire IS grounded then remove the relay and check/clean the terminals in the socket. If those are OK I'd say the relay is dead. Remove relay, open it up, examine for any obvious problem, clean contact points and soldering; they can often be brought back to life.

If no joy, replace relay....noting that, although appearing ordinary at first blush, this is a unique relay with a built-in diode that you'll probably have to special order. We'll cross that bridge if we get to it

Cheers
