Hi, I have a 1996 Daimler Double-Six XJ12 (pics included) that I'm working on in my garage and and there is a problem with the Security / Immobilizer system. Changed the body control module and I now need to program it. I was told that a tool called the Jaguar GenRad could work on it. I found a sale for the tool online and before I purchase it, I want to be sure that it can work (read codes, data, program etc.) Any help/info would be greatly appreciated.

 

You've posted in the wrong forum. This one is for the XJ saloons from 1968-1986 for the sixes, and the few V12 that continued up to 1992. Your car is an X305 which has its very own forum, although you might find people in the X300 forum know something about your problem. Very few of these V12s were made, so you have quite a rare car.
