Default 1996 Jaguar Vaden Plas - Shocks

My Jag has 74,000 miles and has a little click on the front left side if I go over a bump or a manhole cover. What is recommended shocks? Can I just get away with replacing the upper and lower bushings?

You appear NEW, so WELCOME.

Your 1996 XJ6 is known in JAg talk as an X300. Too modern for in here.

I suggest a repost in the X300 area for maximum responses to that model.

I did mine a while back, and the top bushes were TOAST, and new Genuine's fixed it sweet. The rears needed shocks as they had lost some gas and were "bouncy".
