2015 XJ6C project, A lap at Limerock Park
Ran 2 days at Limerock Park. 28 laps. I lapped my group and ran 1:12.06 on and open track 80 degrees and sunny. The car can probable do 10 seconds faster. I drove it there and drove home. I was not pushing it and I'm still learning the track. It was my first time on the track with this car as it's configured with the 6 speed. The car was able to generate 1.1 G's in one of the turns.
Alternator nut came loose and I trashed the Alternator and belt in the process. Got a ride to a big box auto parts store near the track and got back on the track and did this, my fastest run.
Auto racing is an Odd way to have fun but I'm hooked!

Back in the day I belonged to the EURAM (European American) sports car club. Was a local club based in Milford, CT. Our rival club was Bonnet and Boot SCC. And another club in Waterbury - but I forget their name. We would all host Gymkanna's/Autocrosses on Sundays when the big shopping malls were closed (back in the day). Of course with mall owners permission and we all had Lloyds of London insurance. We also ran Time Trials at Lime Rock, which is what I'm sure you were probably doing. GREAT FUN! I built an SCCA spec'd TR4 that I trailered to all the events. Those were the days! Your car looks great; have a blast.
