79 XJ6 starting & running problems
sometimes the car starts good but won't keep running.
sometimes car won't start with out spraying starter fluid in intake, starts, but won't keep running. The car is Fuel Inj. Fuel pressure is good.
Acts like a fuel problem but has fresh gas, new fuel pump, filter & regulator.
The car used to be a sweet runner but for the past year or so it would loose power as you were going down the road. You would press down on the gas pedal but there would be nothing there and than it would snap out of it and keep going down the road and maybe do it again a few more times. There were times when going up a hill was a challenge. Any help would be appreciated.
