There is a little push-catch where the support rod comes out of the seat, however, there may be a clip at the end to stop it coming right out, so you may possibly have to remove the trim panel at the rear of the seat to get at it.

Default headrest removal

OK< There is NO way to remove a headrest unless you take the skin OFF, CRAZY, My driver seat was so bad it didnt matter but I finnally got to the clip and got it off.
On the passenger side I was able to get the cover over the headrest and it took 2 hours Less,LOL. Should have read a little more on installing..
Going for Tires today and taking a ride ,Hopefully with no problems.

These Jaguars have their little foibles, (and also some big ones too!!). I kept mine for 14 years, sometimes wish I hadn't, but most times loved the car, I just wished Jaguar had put it together properly.

I would like to lift the headrest of the driver & passenger seat but didn't want to force it.
