Default 86 xj6 gauges have no power

I had been in the process of tuning my jag and was going back and forth to check temp and oil psi and out of nowhere I lost all power to every gauge, the digital trip thing and the ac, but currently looking to fix the gauges. All fuses test out and all gauges have good ground.

1986? is it a Series 3 or an XJ40?

About the only way to lose all gauges and the trip computer in an S3 is for the 15A fuse in the main fuse panel ( no4 fuse on drivers side in the US) to be blown/faulty or the power feed to it missing.

I feel like an idiot it's a 84, but it was the lead to it had corroded off so I had to cut one out of some spare copper I had laying around and soldered it back to the wire

1984 was a very good year at Jaguar. mine is stable if not intact. Everything works.
