87' Jaguar XJ6
The more modern AJ16 Jaguar straight six is becoming a popular retro fit. Much more common is a Chevy V8. Google Johns Cars or Jaguar Specialties

My 76 xj12 has the 350 chevy conversion kit. It fits really nice under the hood, and everything stays functional. What little I was able to drive it so far(just purchased sat), it seems to ride really nice, no handling or steering issues, and has plentybof power
