Air Conditioning Servo Motor
Hello, I've just bought a refurbished servo motor for my series 2, I would like to know if it should be put in some kind of neutral position before mounting it and in case what is this position. Thanks all!!
Take a look at this, it would seem that the servo could be installed regardless of the linkage. HOWEVER, setting the linkage afterward has to be done. I adjusted mine when it was out, but I didn't remove/install the servo.

It *Should* already be in the best position if it's truly rebuilt. If you just got it *Used* there's no telling what position it was in when removed from the car.
I bought one from Gary Crosby at Jag-Aire and it was ready to go out of the box.

The key thing is to carefully note the position of the flap actuating rods where they attach to the servo. Ensure that you attach the new servo to the rods in exactly the same position. As long as you do this, it will work from the off.
