There was an 87 last fall there that I grabbed lots of things.. but LKQ seems to be getting expensive and they add all these BS warranty and core charges to each item that is pure profit to them
But I grabbed relays, water rail sensors and the computer. Also got an unripped center console top. I recovered my old on last year but poorly😂
Wanted to get all 6 injectors but is it worth it you think. Are they rebuildable?
not sure about injector rebuild, only as spares. Pull fuel pump, sunroof motor, chrome, door mirrors, grille, auxiliary fan and red relay, tail lamps, third center stop lamp, gauges, radio and panel, trip computer, switches, a/c amplifier, you name it, pull it.

Not here! They take them off and store them inside, charging Real money for them.
About a month after Nix came to live with us one of these appeared in our local yard. It was October when husband found it in the listing, so we spent 2 days a week for a couple months scavenging what we needed/wanted off the car, careful to not destroy anything I took off just in case someone else needed it.
To say it was a Learning Experience is an understatement. I learned how to take my own Jag apart, making any mistakes in that junker (there WERE mistakes!).
The only thing I didn't get was the heater matrix, which I simply didn't have the tools nor know-how to get at. Besides, the weather turned off very cold and blustery but I got what I Really wanted anyway, and one day it was gone.

yup, can't beat junk yard university education. it's good to read that you are thinking of the next person's needs when removing unwanted parts. if all scavengers were so thoughtful.
As a kid, circa 48 or so, junk yards were candy stores and just amzing places to visit. that lasted for many decades.
My 34 Chevrolet Standard was hard on rear ends. Why? Not becuse of the HP or torqure!! I repaced the gears in one. short life. Fid it again. A friendly mechanic guided us. Not much better. Visited the junk yard. Not pick and pull./ the yard men did it. A 35 was the donor. Except for it;s awful green color, it was a better car than mine!!! But, mine ran. it was there for a reason!!! That fixed that issue, til i sold it to a returning marine veteran.
Another decade. Circa 59. I stumbled across a rough 40 Ford pickup. No engine or trans, and lousy brakes. Cheap?? I bought it and drug it home behind the company car!! rustled upo an engine and rtrans, radiator wheels and tires,. got runnig. Powere by a 53 Mercury engine!!!
There is a gentleman in Florida by the name of SD Faircloth that can clean and refurbish the fuel injectors (jaguarfuelinjectorservice.com) that I've used a number of times. The injectors on Blue Six were stuffed and he sold me a refurbished set at a reasonable price. His site has a good bit of useful information as well. No affiliation, just a repeat customer.
I made my first trip to an LKQ yard a couple of weeks ago to grab some things from an 87 they had... (Thanks to Brian Hicks for the recommendation)...
I got the Pepperpots for myself, and then just a lot of stuff for inventory...
You are correct about the pricing.. It was pretty crazy. I spent about the same as I would on a whole car for a couple of loads of stuff... I walked up to the cashier and said "No warranty on anything".. That saved me about $50.. But there were a bunch of core charges (luckily I had brought some rims to trade) and "environmental fees".. They say that the environmental fee is to help provide a clean, safe place for people to go.. But this yard was exceptionally junky...
Still a lot of fun to go in for the day and have free reign with a mostly complete car....
