i see you deleted the side markers, i did too! really cleans up the lines!!

No really. Way too humid to paint, so block sanding is what the shop is doing right now. Im in the process of rebuilding the 700r4 and getting the engine to fire. should be interesting.

 

Where did you get the front valance from? Are the hinges modified or simply.behind it??

 

I want my XJ painted by her. She does Rolls Royce too.

 

Not too bad. Kinda skinny, though!!

Car should be painted by mid september! its too humid here to paint right now so the body shop is waiting for better days.

Amazing craftsmanship!!! But, just too purty to touch!!!


1. Using both fillers would have been interesting. I kinda like that feature on our cars.
Even if it is a bit of extra trouble to tank up. Fill one tank, do a pirouette around the back with the nozzle up to do the other. reverse, when done!!


2. Picky me: I see no provision for senders for the fuel guage?

thanks guys, its really been a rollercoaster with the bodyshop, but im glad to have it done. and ya the tank doesnt have a fuel sender, ill have to figure out a new way to keep an eye on the level. should be home tomorrow morning so more pictures then
