Default Cannot get bolt out

There is a bolt hidden under the electrical connector in the corner under the brake booster, anyone an idea how to get it out, in order to remove the brake booster?

And I thought I was the only one that had that bolt to take out when I took mine out. I couldn't believe that Jaguar would have designed it that way... but I guess they did. So I had to get under there with a hand held grinder and grind the crap out of the bolt from up under the dash. And I didn't replace it when I put the booster and assembly back in. I figured three bolts is enough.

Check inside the car for a nut. I've never found any nut or bults on the Jag to be difficult to remove. They were engineered to be repaired with modest effort so you may be looking at it the wrong way.

That's the nut I was referring to, but I could not get at it to get a hold on it. It's been awhile so I don't remember why.

All that I can offer is that the Pro's just go to the "cut them off" tactic. Production the objective.

Indeed, it works,

Decades ago my neighbor was having trouble with a big bolt securing the T5 transmission bolt to the
bell housing. Space enough for a recip saw. Yippee. the trans came free ! As did the stub of the cut fastener. Just bound in misalignment. New bolt fixed it.

Hi guys;

I figured it out: There is not nut underneath it, but a rifling, fixerd to the brake-device! But it stuck quite firmly so i had to hammer it out from the inside. Annoying is that there is no note in any manual that refers to this tricky little *******. But hey, that is what its make it all adventurous isn't it?

Next step for me: remove all the rost and debree, do a litle bit of welding , conserve the engine-room with RX5 and RX 10. Good stuff: https://www.rx5.nl/rx5/rx5-blik-liter-p-2192.html

Greetings, Rudy
