Dear all,

The car is 1975 , XJ6C, 4.2
In order to fire up the engine for first time after 20 years, I took off the cards. I have refurbishment kits for those carbs and I’m gonna bring them back to life. The front carb has vacuum hose at bottom end, ( marked with red line)

where is attached it? Maybe somebody has vacuum diagram for XJ6 series 2, California car? I can see many vacuum lines unplugged and wondering how to connect.

I'll have to double check, but IIRC that vacuum hose goes to the distributor.

Will be great if you can send some diagram.
In my car distributor got vacuum from intake manifold...
The rear carb has top vacuum from to EGR valve, the front carb don't have top vacuum, instead has bottom , but I don't know where goes..
