Default Mystery Vacuum Lines

Hi All,

I have recently acquired my 83 XJ6 US spec (as some already know) and the previous owner had done some tinkering. I found 2 "mystery" vacuum lines that currently are behind the relays on the firewall. I thought that they were the same line that someone couldn't remove and another line put in its place. However, I started the car and I felt a vacuum from both. I put a screw in each, and the idle speed dropped. So these have to go to something. I'm guessing they go somewhere in the cabin maybe? They are tiny lines. Smaller than washer fluid lines. Anyone have any ideas what they could run to? Thanks!!

There's a vacuum hose the same size that runs from the heater valve and then along the firewall down under the manifold to the distributor. Is this right? It looks like it should go to the cabin and another line comes out that goes to the distributor....

I'm thinking that the PO cut the two lines I found, and thought that they were the same line. He then ran a "new" line connecting the heater valve and the distributor.
