Default Clueless about this part?

I need to replace this part and have no idea what it's called.
Not knowing what it is is really hard to do research on.
Please advise.
1985 XJ6

Thanks

While you have that off, you might as well get out the ratchet set and take off the filter and manifold that breather cap connects to and clean it. Generally when the cap cracks (which I assume is what happened to yours) the filter is also generally very dirty or even clogged.
