I was thinking of paying the extra $$$ for a cometic head gasket rather than using the factory one. Have heard good things about cometic on other sites but wondering if anyone has had a bad experience with a cometic head gasket on a SIII 4.2 or any 4.2 for that matter?

I'm installing one tomorrow, as a matter of fact. Good product, per my local Jag club.

 

Update: Taking that head off is a real bear My car is hanging with a half-can of PB blaster in the studs. I think it'll have another go today.
