Confused on wiper motor removal
I have the Jaguar manual but it is vague on the cable removal part. I removed the clamp and loosened off the nut for the cable. I fooled with it for about a half hour before coming in here to post. How does the cable come out of the motor so I can remove it from the car? There is a rats nest around it and I want to powerwash the engine bay. Also, is there anything I can lubricate on the motor while its out?

Wiper motor holds the cable inside
First take off the wiper arms!
You then take off the wiper motor retaining bolts, undo the cable locking nut and take off the wiring plug... then "pull" the cable out of the tube... you will then be
able to service the motor and clean up the insides and clean and lube the cable.
Hopefully the pictures of my motor apart for new brushes will show you what you need to know... or there are many wiper motor photos on the web.
To get the cable off, you have to remove the clip on the arm on the gear... this will allow enough room to wiggle out the connecting piece. Be very careful
of the Park switch pin and the white plastic piece that slides back and forth. It goes in correctly one way... there is a ramp for the Park switch pin to ride on...
PO had mine installed backwards - breaking the Park switch.
The armature and brush part of the motor, inside the can, is removed in this picture and has no bearing on your request.
