Default Connecting remote start switch

I'm checking my valve clearances and wanted to hook up a remote start switch to the starter solenoid.

Having a hard time getting access to the area and wondered if there is a better place to make the connection to the start wire (which I believe is the yellow-red wire on back of the solenoid.)

It's actually a white/red wire. Easiest way is to pull the white/red wire off the starter relay, which is almost dead center on the firewall

Cheers

I guess my yellow/red wire is really an aged white/red wire. Yes, the firewall sounds like a much easier place to make the connection.

Thanks
