Ok, good. You *don't* have the later 'brown tank' system....as shown in one of your earlier posts.

You have the earlier 'metal tank' system....which has the header tank on the engine.

I ran the leak test and it was essentially blue there was a very, very small tinge of yellow, I had to put it in a shadow to see it when the vile was held up to the light it was blue. Ever since I fill the header tank while running it has stayed full. I just checked it after running the car for a bit and he header tank is full. So I don't know what went on? Thanks Jerry

I suspect you have a very small head gasket leak. I'd take a 'wait and see' approach at this point. Keep monitoring it and wait for developments.....which may occur tomorrow, or year after next, or......?

Cheers
DD

You could try one of the coolant sealant type additives. Some folk swear by them, others hate them. A very minor leak may be "cured".

As a footnote I reran the leak test it turned out ok, I think on the first test run the radiator was too full and some of the antifreeze might have gotten into the container and contaminated the solution. Thanks jerry

Not sure what solution the antifreeze contaminated???

Yeah, some of the crystalline sealers work, at least for a while. Jaguar
factory solution not so good. Seals wanted passages as well as the unwanted....

Against his usual advice son used one on his ancient Case tractor. It worked, Probable source, the seals at the base of it's wet cylinder liners. Neat old beast...

Enhances their Sierra home as gentle folk farmers. Live stock is comprised of a billy and a nanny goat. Billy, is fixed, so no offspring
expected. A big playful spoiled pet..

The solution used in preforming the leak test(hydrocarbon leak test on cooling system) on the radiator. Thanks Jerry
