Last Sunday we enjoyed a Very nice Club drive along the Sacramento River Delta from The City to the little town of Ryde for the monthly club lunch.

It was a Beeeautiful day for such a drive. Temps in the high 60s-low 70s.

Everyone wanted to be photographed in front of the Classiest Car there, Nix! (I freely admit my bias)


We had more cars, but we don't allow Brand Xs to be photographed with the Jags, although the drivers are allowed in the Group Photos. And they have to travel at the end of the line!

I could Lust after that RED XJS! It's Exactly the style I like, right color, right top, right tail lights.

And after lunch, everyone went home.

Through it all, Nix performed Flawlessly! The new AC amp from Jag-Aire kept us Just Right and comfy.
The drive was cloud smooth and Silent, with no banging on the floor pan of brake line, fuel or vapor line, not to mention the exhaust pipes were secure! I didn't realize how Annoying and Irritating those noises had become!
It makes one tired just having to hear all that.

Further drives this season will be even more enjoyable, if that's possible.

One time I drove a V12 XJ-S and it was unbelievable, the power and the silence of the engine were awesome.
