Hello,

What is this device attached to earth bracket of charge gauge. There is blue capacitor , but one end of the capacitor is not connected. What is purpose of this device where attach capacitor end?

i found out, this is voltage regulator,
attached to earth bracket of charge gauge,
just would like to know where goes black wire from blue capacitor?
The charge and oil gauge working, but want insure future problems…

 

Normally that end of a Capacitor would be connected to ground. Just make sure the unit is not shorted before doing that.
