Differential ratio
I don't know. Diff ratio often varied with market.
In that era 3.07 and 3.31 were commonly used by Jaguar. I think North American market cars (both 6 and 12 cylinder) usually got the 3.31 and other markets the 3.07.
A V12 car would have LSD as standard; optional on 6-cylinder cars.
Others will chime in
Cheers

If you can’t find what you need, ( which I couldn’t) you can take pumpkin to a reputable 4x4 shop and they can put whatever gears you like in it, and add limited slip, mines now an auburn limited slip with 3:73 gears, really helps get the car moving off the line!!
My ‘77 twelve cylinder was 3.31. It’s now a 3.54 from Coventry West.
Transmission also makes a difference. I have a special built close ratio 700R4 with different first & second gears. First is 2.78.
