Disontinued: cold start injector for XJ6 S3 and others. Any source for a new one?

for my 1978 V12, my ECU is adjustable for cold start, when cranking it ups the fuel volume at the manifold injectors, till it starts, then holds it for anywhere from 10rpm to 75 rpm!

works great , something to be said for standalone EFI systems.

i plugged the old injector holes!

it was like new, outside and inside I think it sold. Price was $9,600. obo

That's nice. I'm not a fan of them after '76 or so, but this looks like a nice one.

I live in CA near the coast, where temps rarely get under 45F. Has anyone ever tried functioning without the Cold Start Injector? Mine actually does fire, but it appears to have a leakage issue.

These are hard to find. If anyone has an idea or contact -- let me know

Many moons ago I discovered, quite by accident, my CSI wasn’t working. It was in the spring; warmer weather. I have no idea how long it was inoperative; never had a problem starting.

At 45f degrees there might be a difference. More cranking needed to start the engine.
