Default Does 73 XJ12s have a fuel cutoff switch?

Hey everybody,
I'm trying to track down a fuel problem on an XJ12 and the only wiring diagram I could find online was for a 76. From that it looks like fuel cutoff would be the answer, but I can't find it on the car.
One post said under passenger side kick plate, that is the metal trim piece that says jaguar, right? Do you need to remove that to get to the switch?
Thanks.
Mike

Mike,

All my S2 cars had that switch on the LH side (RHD car), on the A pillar, and with a plastic cover hiding it.

Easily seen with the LHF door open, and look just under the dash trim edge, where it meets the A pillar.

I will assume?? that for LHD, Jaguar simply "mirrored" whatever was needed.

I dont have any snaps of that thing, never thought it needed.

Not sure if S1 cars had them, never owned one of that model.

Thanks, Grant. It must have been added after that year.

Would a bad starter or starter solenoid cause power to not get to the switch?

I'm pretty sure the starter is going.
