I wonder if something in the latch is broken or jammed?

Disconnect the motor linkage at the latch and operate the system. Does the motor/rod now have full travel?

I did take that latch off and cleaned the area. I didn’t test if it worked while it was off. I’ll tackle that and report back. Thanks Doug
